PARÍS, Francia. La pandemia del nuevo coronavirus causó al menos 50,000 muertos en el mundo, tres cuartas partes de los cuales en Europa, desde su aparición en diciembre en China, según conteo de la AFP a partir de datos oficiales el jueves a las 17h50 GMT.

En total se han contabilizado 51,364 fallecimientos, de los cuales 37,709 en Europa. Con 13,915 muertos, Italia es el país con más muertos, seguido de España (10,003), Francia (5,387) y Estados Unidos con 5,316. NR
