El diario estadounidense The New York Times, reveló que un grupo de 17 misioneros

de

Estados Unidos

y sus familiares fueron secuestrados en

Puerto Príncipe, Haití.

De acuerdo al medio de comunicación estadounidense, los hechos ocurrieron cuando abandonaban un orfanato el pasado sábado 16 de octubre.

En lo narrado, se explica mediante fuentes de seguridad del país caribeño, que en el secuestro se encontraban niños y mujeres.

La banda criminal secuestró a los misioneros en el momento en que se encontraban en un autobús, el cual se dirigía del orfanato y al aeropuerto.

Ante la situación, las autoridades de Haití quedaron sorprendidas por el numeroso grupo de integrantes que fue secuestrado, pese a la situación que vive el país en temas de seguridad.

Hasta el momento, autoridades no han dado mayore detalles por el crimen cometido. OM
