Dog has long been declared ‘man’s best friend,’ and one need look no further than Luoyang, Henan province to find evidence of the strong bond between human and pooch. NetEase reports on the story of paralyzed shoe repairman Bo Laoma, whose dog has not only unremittingly stayed by his side, but has been seen pushing him to and from his place of work in a homemade wheelchair. Bo, who is paralyzed from the waist down, uses the wheelchair to make the daily commute to his shoe repair stand, which is an uphill journey taking over one hour. The journey, however, may have become a little less arduous with his four-legged friend there to keep him company every step of the way. The shoe repairman told reporters that the strong bond between the two renders them inseparable. He also added that he believes his dog is more clever than many of the guide dogs that he has seen on TV.
