Varios cohetes impactaron este martes cerca de una base aérea iraquí donde están alojadas tropas estadounidenses, informó el ejército iraquí.
El ataque contra la base Camp Taji no causó víctimas, según el comunicado oficial, que no detalló cuántos cohetes impactaron.
Desde finales de octubre las bases iraquíes con soldados estadounidenses han sufrido decenas de ataques. El 27 de diciembre murió un subcontratista estadounidense, lo que provocó a su vez una dura réplica de Washington y la muerte mediante el ataque de un dron del general iraní Qasem Soleimani, jefe de la Fuerza Quds y principal responsable de las operaciones militares en el exterior.
